Like many of my patients, I discovered Chinese medicine from a climbing injury that left me in pain for a long time. I wanted to understand the source of my pain without masking it with medication so I pursued alternative options and discovered acupuncture. My pain was relieved almost immediately.

After continued treatment I also discovered significant improvement with both my mental health, and endometriosis. It blew me away! Like most people, I didn’t have any idea how many issues acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can treat.

This paved the way for me to want to share this relief with everyone. I studied at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received my Masters of Science in Acupuncture. I then continued my studies in Chinese herbal medicine and completed my Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have passed all national board exams, earning my diplomate of acupuncture from NCCAOM and acupuncture license in the lovely state of Colorado.

I have also taken specialty courses in both musculoskeletal disorders as well as gynecology.

I am passionate about treating mental health, autoimmune disorders, and chronic pain. I am so excited to help people on their journey to find the relief and healing I have also discovered for myself with this powerful medicine. It is truly a pleasure doing this work, getting to know and help people.

Outside of practicing Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, Sarah loves the outdoors, music, and animals. In the winter I love to snowboard and snowshoe. In the summer she likes to camp, swim, mountain bike, paddle board, and embark on any activity that includes my sweet dog, “Sunny”.

I also love music and am a vocalist. I’ve had the opportunity to sing in bands, choirs, and theatre. Performing is my favorite form of expression.

I’m so excited to embark on this journey with Family Tree and to get to share my passion for Chinese medicine!
