Our Clinic

The best healing happens when you are relaxed. We know that acupuncture is a new experience for many people, and can be a little intimidating until you try it. We have strived to make our clinic warm, welcoming and comfortable, so you can start to relax the moment you walk in the door.

With nature photography in every room, comfortable chairs, and touches of home, you’ll find yourself looking forward to each appointment. Come a few minutes early to unwind before your appointment. Read a magazine, have a cup of tea, and take a break from your busy day. We even have a little candy dish.

We have a kids play area for our littlest patients. It helps kids feel at home and they are  more open to treatment when they get to come play for awhile, first. Please, just keep voices quiet so all our patients can relax!

Our treatment rooms are a safe haven, with many little touches to help you feel at home. Soft lighting, quiet music, and triple padded, heated tables made up with flannel sheets, soft pillows, and far-infrared heat lamps will help you get the most of your treatment. Many of our patients tell us this is their favorite part of their week!

In the treatment room we use with kids, we have books, and comfy chair with a footstool they can sit in for treatment, or an electric lift table for treatment. Most kids like to get a “ride” on the table, and a little massage from the magnet roller on their back.

You’ll leave feeling better than when you came in. How many doctor appointments can you say that about! Whether you’re here for pain, a cold or anything else, you’ll feel so much lighter and relaxed after your treatment. We know it seems surprising that having a bunch of pins in you can make you relax, but it really helps your whole nervous system calm down.

We always strive to make your visit comfortable and relaxing, and to make sure we communicate well. You need to know what’s going on, and to have all this explained in ways that make sense.
