About Jennie Luther, L.Ac, Dipl.OM, RMT

About Jennie Luther, L.Ac, Dipl.OM, RMTI found my way to the healing arts for many of the same reasons you might be here today. My kids and I had chronic health issues that weren’t getting better with conventional treatment. I wanted to find a natural way to heal, and to be able to help others do the same.

Chinese medicine, acupuncture and bodywork/manual therapy have had a dramatic positive impact on me and my family’s health.

Over the years, these modalities have dramatically helped me with chronic migraines, chronic muscle and nerve pain, digestive issues, asthma, severe environmental allergies, and autoimmune Celiac and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.

I am healthier in my 40s than I was in my 20s, and my family is healthy and thriving.

My path in the healing arts started in 1998. I left a career in banking to study massage and bodywork, and never looked back. Over the years I’ve trained in many healing modalities (see the list below), exploring ways to help people in more powerful ways. I love to study just about anything about the body and healing arts. I may geek out when you have questions—I am excited about this stuff!

I found intense motivation to go back to school to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine when my whole family got extremely sick with the Swine flu in 2009. We went through many months of chronic health issues afterward. Two of our kids and I have asthma that got really out of control, while our youngest had terrible chronic ear infections and cyclical high fevers. We just could not get well.

We didn’t know who to turn to for help. I felt so helpless as a parent, even with my own health. I knew I had to find better ways to help my family. It was a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, along with visceral work and craniosacral therapy, that was finally able to help us.

I decided then that I wanted to be a practitioner who could help families, with a natural, holistic approach that can treat the underlying issues as well as treating symptoms.

I went back to Grad school for 3+ years to study Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in early 2012. Learning this medicine has been a game-changer.

I can treat everything from the common cold to major chronic health issues on many levels. Combined with Craniosacral/Neural therapy and Visceral Manipulation, I am able to work with some very deep patterns to help your body heal. It’s powerful medicine.

My family has been my deepest inspiration and great teachers in this medicine. I learned quickly I needed to be creative in treating kids, with or without needles. Some of our health struggles have also taught me firsthand how to work with everything from deep, chronic issues, to common colds, and even sports injuries.

Now, I get to help not only my family, but many others in our community, to be their healthiest, naturally.

I’m a 6th generation Coloradan, and live here in Centennial with my husband, son, and two daughters.

My Philosophy

Jennie Luther Family - Acupuncturist CentennialI truly believe it is our body’s nature to be healthy.

Sometimes we all just need a little help getting there.

Mind, Body, Spirit— not just connected they’re one and the same! They make up the whole of you. Our emotions, our chronic thoughts, greatly affect the health of our body, and vice versa. We see this played out in so many ways, whether it’s the worsening of chronic health problems with a lot of stress, or the way feeling sick makes you feel depressed.

My approach to health is holistic—all those symptoms, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, merge into your complete picture. I treat you as a whole person, your whole story matters. We will work on improvement in all areas of your being, helping you become more resilient, with greater vitality.

It is my goal to relieve your symptoms, and help you feel better and better with each visit. Acupuncture is cumulative, so you’ll start to see the benefits grow quickly when you’re getting regular treatment. Massage, Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release can bring immediate relief to pain and injury, and calm the body and mind. Herbal medicine continues the treatment in between visits, and is great for treating the roots of your issues. Your treatment plan can be customized to just treat your presenting symptoms, or we create a plan that goes much deeper to address the roots thoroughly.
